I M BACK FROM JAKARTA AND BATAM...These 2 trips were a blast... enjoyed myself totally... the food the culture the relaxation the ppl i m with the ppl i met... EVERYTHING!!!
Jakarta was a business trip. I am amazed by half the things i c there... like how they earn a living (by being self-proclaimed traffic police hoping some drivers will tip them... or by standing at the roadside acting as a passenger to make up for the 3 ppl rule in jakarta main roads).. i visited 4 pharmaceuticals... and my boss was saying tt after this trip, i shud b an expert in pharmaceutical products. HA... not exactly...Some of the pharmaceuticals doesnt sells human medicine ( i mean tt's the first impression that always comes to us ot rather, me). they do sell vacines and bla bla bla for animals too.. :) food is jakarta is good. i will try to post the photos asap on fb. :)
I came back on last saturday, 10 jul 10. and it was a terrible flight back.. yes i m going to say this again.. i m truely shocked tt this happened in SQ flights. i was on 1240 flight back to sin. ETA 215PM SIN time... by 1240pm, gate not even open for boarding yet. so caused the first delay.. we departed at around 1pm.. next, they served food like at 145pm when the flight should touch down at 230pm.. everyone was rushing to finish their food and barely 15 mins after the distibution, they started going ard checking if we were done... and 5 mins after tt, the pilot announced we will be touching down soon... "well planned" i will say... and next, the pilot made another announcement saying that the plane couldnt touch the ground, so we had to make a detour and try landing again. that caused another half an hour delay... "GOOD JOB!!".. so end up... i touched down in SIN airport at 330PM... freaking 330PM... the first thing i did was to head for the washroom and vomit everything out.. thanks to the turbulence... definitely not a good experience... but a good lesson to learn from... always have motion sickness pills with me.. :(
BATAM trip... sweet trip planned by mel to celebrate our soon-to-come anniversary... the room we stayed in was filled with flower petals... everywhere... it formed a nice heart shape on the bed itself... it's BEUATIFUL!!! we had massage and spa... followed by a wonderful candlelight dinner... the atmosphere was pretty good... :) *thumbs up*... live band sang US (only) songs like "yue liang dai biao wo de xin" by theresa deng... and an english song that goes " always on my mind"... dunno what is the song name though... hahaha... it's a short relaxation trip... both of us had plenty of sleep to make up for our busy life... but we totally enjoyed it.. *double thumbs up* to mel for the planning... :D
and now... i m going to slap myself back to reality... ha..

XIAOPEI IS A HAPPY GIRL TODAY!!!!
I had a waacking session with Elke, Jocelyn and Huimin... it's so so fun... :)
but i'm have to give it a miss next week bcos of the Jakarta trip..
I did some shopping today with isabelle... mainly to prepare myself for the Jakarta trip...
Bought a pair of heels, a wallet, a mango shirt, a blazer jacket, and a bag!!!
woohooo.. realli covering from top to bottom.. *thumbs up*
but the spending also abit "thumbs up" la... i spend like 200++bucks.. hahahaha...
Shopping with belle is ever so relaxing and fun... Pei'er likes!!! more pls....
AND TAN XIAOPEI DROVE HOME TODAY!!!
Wa lao... it's a big big acheivement la...
Mel let me drive his car home... and it's freaking scary bcos his car is not exactly tt small...
and i cant imagine the consequences if i bang his car...
but i managed to safely reach home with tt car... hahaha...
so proud of myself...
